The 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30) ran from November 10 to 21, 2025, in Belém, Brazil. During the conference, the Network of Sustainable Development Actors (RADD) organized a forest immersion for women in Cameroon on November 17, 2025.
RADD began after the Kids For Forest project, started in the Congo Basin in 2009. The immersion aimed to renew women’s ties to the forest and show how forests help food, health and climate. Activities included panels, an evening in the forest, an exhibition of seeds and crafts, a hike, a virtual meeting with Belém, tree planting at Sanaga Beach, and a documentary screening.
