Georgia Tech teaches humanoid robots to walk on rough ground
Researchers at Georgia Tech created a faster, cheaper way to train a humanoid robot to walk on uneven surfaces. The method trains a simulated teacher and student together and worked well on many real surfaces.

Robo‑armadillo shell curls to protect electronics
