In Sri Lanka, there is a big problem with elephants. Many people and elephants are dying because of this. Elephants look for food and water near homes, leading to dangerous situations. The government plans to create elephant corridors to help.
However, experts like Prithiviraj Fernando are not sure if this is a good idea. They say many elephants do not move from their places. Last year, many people died because of elephants. The government is also paying a lot of money for damage to farms.
