Olfat Berro is from Lebanon and loves science. She grew up in a poor area where healthcare was hard to access. This situation inspired her to make a difference in society.
Berro studied pharmacy for five years at the Lebanese University. After that, she completed her doctorate in France. In 2003, she joined Roche as a medical sales representative.
In 2015, she became the country manager. Later, she was appointed as the head for the Middle East at Roche, becoming the first woman in this role.
