FDA approves bemotrizinol for US sunscreens

The Food and Drug Administration approved the sunscreen ingredient bemotrizinol for use in the United States. The ingredient blocks UVA and UVB rays; when it appears in products will depend on reformulation, testing and marketing by companies.
