After the 2021 military coup, Exile Hub and others supported people forced into exile. Elizabeth, a doctor who fled to Mae Sot in 2022, now uses music and a feminist residency to support women from Myanmar.

Moon: Teacher, Storyteller and Exile

Moon is a teacher from Karen State who kept teaching after the 2021 coup. She fled for safety, worked in migrant schools, trained with Exile Hub in Mae Sot, and now uses storytelling and media to teach.
