Dongbeihua: Northeastern Mandarin in Chinese Stand-up

Chinese social media and video platforms helped stand-up reach a wide audience. With tighter censorship after 2013, comedians turned to dialect humour and Dongbeihua became the dominant tongue of Chinese stand-up.
