Ochieng’ Ogodo was a well-known science journalist from Kenya. He worked for SciDev.Net and was its Africa editor. He began his journalism career in 1996 and contributed to various media outlets.
Ogodo was passionate about science and believed in mentoring young journalists. He received awards for his environmental reporting and helped develop science journalism in Africa.
After his passing, many expressed sadness at their loss of a friend and leader in their field. His dedication will be remembered by friends and colleagues.
